Murano Island
This painting is a replica of a photo I took while I was on Murano Island in Venice. I found so many interesting little scenes to capture while I was in Italy but this one was my favourite because of how saturated the colours were in the sun light.

Swamp Goddess
The inspiration for this painting comes from the development of my own personal mythology I have developed for myself. The painting depicts a deity of refuge who is always prepared to take care of you when you’ve come to a point where you can no longer take care of yourself.

Sweet like Cinnamon
This paining is inspired by a photograph taken of me and a friend. This painting is a further exploration of the reduction of detail in an image to highlight the emotional content behind it.

Charade
This is a still from the film Charade. Playing with the theme of ambiguity, I simplified the shapes and colours in the image so that it may or may not be clear what the subject of the scene is any longer.

Interstellar
This painting is meant to be purely abstract but still have a resemblance to a sort of retro Memphis group design. To me, it is also reminiscent of an eclipsing of a star, hence the title.
